GOING GREEN

GOING-GREEN

Step by Step Guide to Successful Crediting

Note:  Before you do your first offer, make sure you are already signed up on the site.

Here is the correct way to complete offers broken down into two easy steps:  Please print out these instructions and reference pages and keep them handy when doing your offers –it's a reference you'll use over and over.  I can't emphasize this enough -- have this in front of you as a guide for your 1st 1/2 dozen offers or so.  It will help you immensely!!!  If you follow these instructions very carefully you should have no problem going green on any offer site. It might initially seem like a lot of information, but it'll become second nature to you after doing just a few offers. Please read through this in its entirety, including Additional Notes, before you sign-up on a site and do your first offer.

Internet Browser's:  Depending upon which browser you prefer to use, we highly suggest using another browser exclusively for offer Trading.  If you're currently using IE as your browser, you might want to use Firefox for offer Trading; or if you're currently using Firefox as your browser, you might want to use IE for offer Trading; but this is totally up to you.

Step 1:  Browser Setup  (Firefox)

If you’re not using Mozilla Firefox as your browser, we suggest you do, as it tends to be the more preferred browser for offer trading.

At this time, there seems to be some problems with offers crediting with regularity with the latest version of IE, (IE8).  We personally have used both FF and IE, and definitely recommend FF for doing offers, but it is your choice.

    1.  Make sure that the pop-up blocker is off.
Click on Tools > Options > Content > Uncheck "Block Pop Up Windows"

    2.  Make sure your Browser is set to accept all cookies.
Click on Tools > Options > Privacy > Check Accept cookies from sites.  Make sure the Allow site to set cookies> box is checked and the two boxes below are unchecked.  Also make sure the setting Keep cookies is set to until they expire.

    3.  Clear cookies and all private data.
Click on Tools > Options > Privacy > Select > Clear Now under the Private Data category, and when the menu comes up to select what you want to clear, make sure Cookies and Cache are selected.

    4.  Disable Security.
Before you sign into a site, make sure you disable any firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs that may be running.  You can turn everything back on again after you are done with the offers.

Most traders swear by the necessity to disable firewalls and anti virus programs to better your chances of getting credit.  However, there are some that feel the risk is just too great, and haven’t had problems with offers crediting.  (This may depend on which security suite you have installed because some come with pop up or cookie blockers which will impede crediting, as they interfere with tracking.)  Offer trading site owners recommend disabling security as well.  Feel free to use your own discretion.

    * It is OK, but not necessary, if you are doing multiple offers on the same site, to clear your cookies and cache before completing EACH offer, but NEVER do this while logged into a free site.  Always log out of the site, clear your cookies then log back into the site, click the offer and continue to completing it.

NOTE:  Just a suggestion – You might want to use your Firefox browser strictly for offers, and your IE for all other internet browsing. That way you can keep you Firefox browser as clean as possible, free of tool bars, etc., to eliminate an even further possibility of offers not crediting.  Between the 2 of us, we have done a minimum of 75+ offers each, and not had a problem with crediting when doing it this way.

Browser Set-Up (Internet Explorer)  (if you elect not to use Firefox )

Use only IE6 vs. IE7.  IE8 has additional security that has caused some crediting problems.

    1.  Make sure that the pop-up blocker is off.
Click on Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Uncheck Block Pop Up Windows, and click OK.

    2.  Make sure your browser is set to accept all cookies.
Click on Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Settings – Lower the bar under Settings to accept all cookies.

    3.  Disable Security.
Before you sign into a site, make sure you disable any firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs that may be running.

Step 2:  Completing The Offer(s)

1.  First, you’ll want to make sure all windows are closed.  START BROWSER. Get into the habit of always jumping to your browser's home page or a blank page with no cookies before you clear cookies. Then, go to the site you are registering on by using the referral link you received.

2.  You should be on the offer site log-in page. Make sure you are being referred by me and always sign up as a referral account on all sites. Pick a prize (if it’s strictly a cash payout site, I recommend choosing the least amount or 1 referral prize – it can always be changed later).

3.  Offers. Look over all the offers the offer site has to offer. Choose the one(s) you are interested in.  It is offer fraud for anyone to tell you which offer(s) to do. You’ll want to try and do offers that are worth a full credit, 1/2 credit or 1/3 credit. This way you won't have to do so many offers to GREEN. We again, suggest having several offers on your list, so you’ll have options. Make sure you read ALL of the Terms of Service (TOS) regarding the offer, as you will be bound to them if you complete it. This is where you will find all the stipulations of the “trial period” and offer.  I wouldn’t suggest signing up for any of the offers until you have made notes on the ones you’re absolutely interested in.

4.  Once you have decided which offers you want to do (read through the Offer Plan section), log out, clear cookies and private data, and log back into the site.  Proceed with your first offer.

Below is an example of the least amount of information you should record regarding the offers you’re completing.  I also have a Spreadsheet you could use that I will send under separate cover if you would like.  Just ask!  Whatever works for you!

EXAMPLE:

Site name: cash.pipnadazitich
Name of Offer: popAuction Expert
Sign up date: 1-2-2009
Cost: $4.95 for trial---$39.95/month if I keep
Credits: 1/2 credit
Trial Time: 14 days
Last Day of Trial: 1/15/2009
Credit Card Used: Visa???????
Company number and/or email: 1-888???????
Special Notes: Confirmation or Order #

5.  When you get to the last page of the offer (Confirmation or thank you page) leave this up for approx. 10 minutes before doing anything else. DO NOT DO ANOTHER OFFER until the 10 minutes is up. This is when your offer is being credited back to the offer site. If there is a “piggy back” offer attached to the one you are doing, there’s no need to do them, unless you have no choice.

6.  Once the 10 minutes is up close the window and go back and clear cookies and private data.
Personally, I keep my offer sites open for 20 minutes or more, just to make sure the offer credits.

7.  Do this process for as many offers as it takes to get to the required amount of credits.  You should receive credit!

8. VERY IMPORTANT - You can only sign up at a site once.  You can only complete an offer once, regardless of which site it is on.

Additional Notes

    * Allow each page in the entire process to load completely before clicking on anything or proceeding.  This goes from the moment you first log onto any offer site.

    * Avoid navigating away from the pages in the offer completion process at any time, and always avoid having to use the ‘back’ button.  This goes for viewing the TOS (Terms of Service) as well.  Always open the TOS in a new window or tab, then, close it when you are done with it.

    * It is strictly forbidden to use a prepaid credit card, or PayPal plug in, as a payment method for the offer.  Your credit will be revoked by the advertiser.

    * ALWAYS attempt to try out the product or service you are signing up for.  The purpose of offers is that you try out the offers that the advertisers have placed on these sites.  You are highly encouraged to keep offers that you like.  Failure to use the offer’s product or services as well as canceling the offer early will result in the credit for the offer being revoked.

IF THE OFFER YOU’VE COMPLETED DOESN’T CREDIT IMMEDIATELY – DON’T PANIC – OFFERS DON’T ALWAYS CREDIT INSTANTLY, EVEN IF SO INDICATED!(b/L)

    * Offers not crediting within the time frame indicated, is something that happens from time to time.  You need to be patient! Don't feel the need to immediately go forward with another offer to take its’ place, or worry that you won’t get credit. Sometimes it can take a day or two, or more

    * Since you can only sign up for any offer just once, regardless of site, you really need to keep track of the offers you have completed, as well as the specific sites you have done offers on, ideally alphabetically. That way, it’s always easy to tell, at a glance, if you have done one of them before.

    * Reminder -- Keep good notes on all offers and their Terms and Conditions regarding cancel dates, phone numbers, etc., (all of this can be logged onto a spreadsheet).  Some traders just prefer using a notebook, as opposed to a spreadsheet.  Whatever works for you!

    * If, for any reason, you have to cancel an offer you subscribed to, TODAY is usually the first day of your free trial.  So for a 10-day trial, you would only add 9 days to today's date to find out when it expires.  If your free trial ends on a weekend, many companies will expect you to cancel on the Friday prior.  My best suggestion for keeping track of these dates is to use a simple calendar, noting the name of the offer on the last possible cancellation day, or 1-day prior—whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
