.MANUAL CREDIT REQUEST PROCESSPROXY RULES
A proxy is sort of an intermediate connection to the internet. Instead of connecting you through your ISP to the internet/server, (which is the browser you go through to connect to the internet), you go through a server that will change your IP address. It will make you appear as if you have multiple accounts (IP addresses), and you will be put on hold for not adhearing to the TOS (Terms of Service).
The Lagado Proxy Test shows details of any proxy servers you are using. It is especially useful to expose transparent proxies. These are proxies inserted between your browser and the web, typically by your ISP, and often without you knowing.
Sometimes a proxy will be deliberately hidden so it won't be exposed by this test. In this case you can use the Cache Test to expose stealthed transparent proxy caches.
A definitive check is to call your ISP.
Be sure to read theTOS (Terms Of Service) at each offer site (and you should), they will list the restrictions to connections such as proxies and which ISP they will not accept along with not connecting from public institutions.
If you attempt to login to the offer site with another IP address they assume the worst and you go RED.
Here is another check that you can try if you haven't been able to contact your ISP and you are using Internet Explorer 7.0. It would be a similar method for Internet Explorer 6.0 but not exactly the same.
In your Internet Explorer window:
(1) Pull down the Tools menu and click on the Internet Options.
(2) Click on the Connections tab
(3) Click on the LAN Settings button
About midway down the screen you will see a title "Proxy Server" with a check box underneath entitled "Use a proxy server for you LAN ....". If it checked you are probably using a Proxy Server.
Then close this window and go back to the Connections tab.
There is a box entitled "Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings"
If you use one of these connections for the Internet click on the appropriate name and then click on the Settings button. If the check box for "Use a proxy server for this connection..." is checked then you are probably using a proxy server.
MCR - (Manual Credit Request). If you complete an offer, and you didn't receive credit, you can often submit an MCR to the offer site, and they will investigate it further.
Here's how to submit a MCR:
Submitting a confirmation email to support for a request for credit, with the header or source included.
Each email system has an option of viewing the email source, or the header as to where the email came from, who it came from, the time, and the ip address. It has quite a bit of informative on the source of the email. If you are using Yahoo you can find it at the bottom right, it says full header. Click on it, copy the complete email from top to bottom and paste it into the support ticket.
The subject line should be request for credit. For any email that is not listed below you can find the source by clicking on help in you email account. Every email has a "Help" option. Your question would be to find the source/header to an email.
